Smart Money Order

You may send money through ICICI Bank's Smart Money Order which allows you to send money anytime, anywhere in India. Simply log on to ICICIBank.com and enter the address of the receiver and the amount to be sent. The funds will be delivered to your beneficiary's doorstep. ICICI Bank's Smart Money Order facility has been launched in partnership with India Post (The Department of Posts, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Government of India).

• You can send money from the convenience of your home. No need to visit a Post office.
• Service is available 24 X 7 X 365.
• Forget cumbersome DDs, cheques and pay orders.
• Send money anywhere in India, no restrictions on cities or towns.
• Transact from your home, office or just about anywhere else through ICICIBank.com.
• Money sent by you is delivered to the receiver's doorstep.
• Get confirmation of the delivery of money to the receiver.
• Send money to anyone, even if the receiver does not hold a bank account.
• ICICI Bank customer can send Smart Money Order on the behalf of their near and dear ones (non-ICICI Bank customers).
• On a Single transaction, you can max request a Money Order for Rs 5,000/- with minimum of Rs 100/- and in the multiples thereof. 

To send money through this unique service, you just have to follow these simple steps:

• Login to your ICICI Bank.com account and visit the Bank Section.
• Click " Smart Money Order" tab in Left Hand Side.
• Input the details of sender, receiver and amount.
• Once the transaction is processed your account will be debited.
• The amount will be delivered to the receiver address within 15 working days from the date of debit to customer's account.

Following charges would be applicable for Smart Money Order service:

India Post charges:

• 5% of Transaction Amount. Please note that these charges are applicable even for Money Orders made through Post Offices.

ICICI Bank charges:

• Rs 25/- per transaction and service tax on Rs 25/- per transaction.
